Amid this backdrop, Om Gupta founded Ashiana Housing, a transformative initiative aimed at offering the middle-class homeowner features that were previously reserved for higher-income housing. These included superior construction quality, lush landscaped gardens, expansive green spaces, children’s play areas, swimming pools, clubs, a full schedule of family-oriented social activities, and comprehensive maintenance services. As Ashiana Housing's success grew, along with industry accolades, the company took a pioneering step by introducing retirement homes in India. These communities were designed to offer seniors safe, active, enjoyable, and comfortable lifestyles.
